Legal notice

Privacy Policy.

We collect your data for one reason only: to reply to you and put together a quote. No advertising, no profiling, no mailing lists.

Last updated: August 2026

Notice given under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

In two lines

If you write to us, we use your data only to reply to you and prepare your quote. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising and we do not sign you up to any newsletter. If you then do not book, we delete it.

01Who handles your data

The data controller is Stefano Mangione, owner of the Oasi del Verde holiday home, Contrada Madonna di Loreto 53/A, 01038 Soriano nel Cimino (VT).

Accommodation registered under licence no. 16288 and national identification code IT056048C28VGS7859.

For any question or request about your data you can write to oasidelverde2@gmail.com or call +39 337 749380. We answer ourselves, in person.

The owner's VAT number and tax code are available on request.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO): we do not fall into the cases where the law requires one.

02What data we collect

Only what you tell us yourself, of your own accord, when you write to us through the contact form, by email, by phone or on WhatsApp:

  • first name and surname
  • email address
  • phone number, if you leave us one
  • arrival and departure dates and how many of you there are, if you tell us
  • the content of your message, that is, what you tell us about your request

The form has no hidden fields and asks for nothing that is not needed to prepare a reply. Please do not include special category data (health, religious beliefs and the like): they are of no use in preparing a quote.

This site uses no analytics tools, does not profile anyone and installs no advertising cookies. The only technical browsing data are the server logs, kept by the hosting provider to keep the site running safely.

03Why we handle it

PurposeLegal basis
Reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote made for youSteps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR)
Look after the stay or the party, if you decide to go aheadPerformance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR)
Meet the legal obligations that come with hosting guests: reporting guests to the public security authorities, tourist tax, invoicing and accountsLegal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR)
Keep the site safe from abuse and faultsOur legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR)

We do no marketing. We will not send you offers, newsletters or promotional messages: if one day we decided to, we would first ask you for separate consent, freely given and withdrawable at any time.

04If you then do not book

It happens often, and it is normal: you ask for a quote and then choose differently. In that case your data stays in our inbox for as long as it takes to close the conversation, and is then deleted without you having to ask.

If you would rather it went straight away, just write to us: we do it and confirm it to you.

05Who else may see it

Your data is neither published nor sold. It can only be handled by the people who give us the tools to work with, and only within that service:

  • the hosting provider for the site
  • the email provider
  • the messaging service we reply to you on, if you write from there (WhatsApp, for example)
  • our tax and accounting adviser, when a stay actually goes ahead
  • the public security authorities and the local council (Comune), only in the cases the law provides for

Some of these providers may handle data outside the European Economic Area: in that case the transfer is based on the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).

06How long we keep it

Type of dataHow long we keep it
Request for information or a quote with no follow-upUp to 12 months from the last contact
Quote sent and not acceptedUp to 24 months, so we can retrace what we said to each other
Data from a stay that took place10 years, as the tax and accounting rules require
Reports to the public security authoritiesFor the periods set by the rules for the sector

07Your rights

You can exercise the rights under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR at any time:

  • know what data we hold and ask for a copy of it
  • have it corrected if it is wrong or incomplete
  • ask for it to be deleted
  • ask us to restrict how we use it
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • receive your data in a format a computer can read, or have it passed on to someone else
  • withdraw consent you have already given, without that making anything done beforehand unlawful

Just write to oasidelverde2@gmail.com. We reply within a month. If you think something is wrong, you can go to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (the Italian data protection authority, garanteprivacy.it) or to the authority in the country where you live.

08Cookies and external content

The details are in the Cookie Policy. In short: no profiling cookies, no analytics, and the Google map loads only if you ask for it.

This notice may be updated, for example if the tools we use change. The version that counts is always the one published here, with the update date at the top.

This is a translation provided for convenience. If the English and the Italian version differ, the Italian version is the one that applies.
